      Enjoy your stay at 16-55th Avenue, located in Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms in Charleston, South Carolina. This beach house will provide a wide array of amenities to make your vacation as comfortable as possible. While you relax and enjoy your time with your family and friends, you will be making memories that will last a lifetime.

       16-55th Avenue has a total of six bedrooms, including one bedroom that doubles as a sitting area. The beach house has two kings, four queens, one double, one twin, and one pull-out sleeper-sofa. The beach house is a spacious 3,200 square feet and sleeps up to 14 guests plus unlimited children under the age of three. We understand guests prefer their own bed, so we have maximized the number of individual beds for guests to use.

      16-55th Avenue is very close to the beach. The back yard abuts a beach access path, and a quick three-minute or so walk will take you to the beach. When you return from the beach, you can rinse off underneath the house in the outside showers. Because the beach house is so close to the beach, you can easily take a break from lounging on the beach and then go right back out again.

Guests at 16-55th Avenue have access inside the gates of Wild Dunes to visit the Wild Dunes deli's and ice cream shops or just to drive around. Guests may also enjoy Wild Dunes bicycle rentals, tennis clinics, and golf course. The Mount Pleasant public swimming pools are just a short drive up the street.

       One of 16-55th Avenue's best features is all of its porch space. The beach house has a front porch, a wrap-around porch, a screened-in porch, and an upstairs sunning deck. The upstairs sunning deck provides a great place to sunbathe during the day and to view the stars at night. Guests can often hear the sounds of the ocean from the sunning deck.

       The kitchen is fully furnished with cooking supplies so you can easily prepare homemade meals. We understand that guests like a lot of cold drinks while at the beach, so we have provided two full-sized refrigerators in the kitchen.  The kitchen has a granite center island that comfortably seats five on barstools as well as a kitchen table that seats another four. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen, and it seats an additional eight. Because the dining room and kitchen are next to each other, guests can host large dinner parties in both rooms while still being close together.

       The family room is the largest room in the house. It has two-story cathedral ceilings. The family room has a large, flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player. The surrounding windows fill the den with natural light and allow guests to enjoy the surrounding scenery. A wet bar with wine glasses is available in the den.  The family room provides the focal point of the house where families and friends can gather and enjoy time together.

       Because we understand that sometimes work doesn't stop while you're on vacation, we have provided all of the technological comforts of being at home or at work. High-speed wireless internet is available for guests to use throughout the home.  Additionally, each of the bedrooms has a flat-screen TV.

       When you go to the beach, the last thing you want to worry about is cleaning. So, 16-55th Avenue is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. When you are ready to leave, you don't have to do any cleaning since departure cleaning is included in the cleaning fee.

       Because we understand that no one wants to have to worry about little things, we have already thought of them for you. 16-55th Avenue is furnished with dish detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, an iron, a hair-dryer, and sun screen. You can rest assured that you will be comfortable at 16-55th Avenue.
